It has poor, peasant origins. Housewives once served it at Christmas time to use up leftover hazelnuts from the summer harvest.
The goodness of our recipe, is due to a careful and accurate combination of all ingredients and the use of only Piedmont Hazelnut. To give extra crunchiness, hazelnut kernels are added to the surface.
