The Product's Story
Paste di Meliga owe their name to their main ingredient: meliga, the word for corn in Piedmontese dialect. A biscuit that carries centuries of farming culture from the Monferrato hills.
Piedmontese cornmeal, grown and milled locally, gives the biscuit its distinctive golden colour and that slightly grainy texture that makes it unmistakable: crumbly, almost rustic, with a warm aroma of toasted corn.
Perfect at breakfast with milk, as a snack, or alongside a cheese fondue. Their classic pairing is zabaglione: one of those contrasts Piedmont has always known how to invent better than anyone.
